Vance Twins Interviewed on the show Northwest Afternoon Show, Seattle Washington State 1997

The adopted person's voice is the most powerful in adoption. Yet, it is the most overlooked.

Vance Twins

The Vance Twins spearheaded the establishment of the Adoption Truth and Transparency Worldwide Information Network in 2011.

With a realistic and insightful approach, the Vance Twins have led the charge in fostering meaningful discussions and sharing adoption quotes that shed light on the multifaceted adoption experience. They prioritize understanding and empathy over financial gain. The community serves as a platform to validate the diverse experiences of adopted individuals while championing their right to reconnect with family members affected by adoption, should they choose to do so.

In essence, the Vance Twins have successfully leveled the playing field, empowering adopted individuals and families separated by adoption with their rightful perspectives over industry wishes.

Their visionary leadership is deeply rooted in an unwavering commitment to innate and natural rights. They challenge antiquated adoption laws that overlook the inherent right of all individuals to foster relationships with their blood-related families, should they desire to. Through their tireless efforts, they strive to create a safe space that cultivates a well-rounded perspective on adoption policies and procedures.

Join this progressive stand in solidarity with the Vance Twins to recognize inherent rights.

The Vance Twins have been faced with numerous challenges in their lives but somehow managed to recover. For starters, they were told they were abandoned on a street in Seoul at birth, which prompted their flight overseas to the United States in the early 1970s. This memoir is of their childhood before smartphones, social media, or knowledge of the adoption industry.

Travel for fun with the Vance Twins during their first trip to Seoul, South Korea! This adventure takes place 20 years ago during what Janine calls “the dark ages” before social media, worldwide investigations into adoption agencies (where now the twins are participants ’22), and her visionary and pioneering Adoption Trafficking Awareness Symposium for Against Child Trafficking in the USA and overseas.

Ever wondered what adopted people are saying right now about adoption? This anthology begins with personal accounts and then shifts to a bird’s eye view on adoption from domestic, intercountry, and transracial adoptees who are now adoptee rights activists. For many years, adopted people have just dealt with such matters alone, not knowing that all of us—as a community—have a great deal in common.

These courageous narratives could save you tens of thousands of dollars or prevent you from obtaining a child unethically. Be the first to read these narratives and join the ever-expanding Adoption Truth and Transparency Worldwide Network. It’s never too late to walk in awareness!
