Shedding Light on Adoption: Critical Issues Unveiled

Adoption Truth and Transparency is dedicated to raising awareness on many critical issues that often go unnoticed by the mainstream public. These issues encompass a range of topics, including the violation of human rights, rehoming, the lack of citizenship for foreign-born adoptees, the restricted and amended original birth certificates, mental health and the high risk of suicide among adopted people, adoption trafficking, and the mislabeling of children as orphans for international adoption processes. We aim to facilitate meaningful discussions and provide valuable insights into these complex subjects, often shrouded in silence.

Huffington Post Recognizes Our Advocacy for Real Adoption Issues

We have been widely recognized and appreciated for our commitment to shedding light on these important issues. A Huffington Post article has acknowledged our efforts and contributions to the cause of real adoption issues.

Behind the Scenes: Meet the Co-founders of Adoption Truth

Adoption Truth and Transparency is administered by the co-founders and co-compilers of two well-known adoptee anthologies, Adoptionland: From Orphans to Activists and The 'Unknown' Culture Club, featuring adopted individuals worldwide. Additionally, one of the co-founders is the author of the highly acclaimed works "Adoption: What You Should Know" and "Rare Adoption Books for Adults." This site is an extension of our advocacy efforts and a platform for discussion and education on the intricacies of navigating the adoption narrative.

Empowering Adoptees: A Diverse Perspective on Adoption

Here, you will find a birds-eye perspective of adoption from a diverse group and gain insight into fellow members' latest news articles and postings.

24/7 Access: Your Global Private Space for Adoption Support

Unlike groups led by adoptive parents, we offer a realistic, expanded, and insightful platform. Through this community, we validate adopted individuals' experiences while considering that we have a right to reconnect with family members who have experienced adoption loss if we so wish.

Leveling the Playing Field: Prioritizing Human Rights

Caution: We are heavily biased on the issue of human rights. Antiquated adoption laws ignore the human rights inborn in all humans to develop relationships with blood-related families if we so wish. To build this community or to volunteer, email info@adoptiontruth.org
